Running fiber to each and every _existing_ home or business can be very,
very expensive.


Running  48 - 192 count fiber /PAST/ a bunch of neighborhoods / busines
parks and pealing off a few pairs to each remote and then terminating of
to 4000 subs at each... 1/100th the cost, or less
