I've had mixed experiences with CFL's, one where they popped after
short usage, one noisy, and most quiet.
LED's are replacing CFL's and I've had similar mixed results from
them.
Since most are made in China - quality control will always be
erratic - the only way to know if the one(s) you have are RFI
quiet is to test them.
Also, over time the heat may impact their RFI-performance, so
if they're in enclosures that trap heat - components could break
down.
