If you're going to let the ARRL & FCC know of an RFI case, please do so after
the utility has been contacted and has either already resolved the case for you
or else has not responded or fixed the problem in a reasonable time.

Positive notifications to FCC's Laura Smith (or her replacement) that utilities
have done what they're supposed to have done would be good for her to be aware
of and if possible track the "good" cases. Be sure to make clear the RFI issue
was resolved so the FCC doesn't mistakenly send a letter to the utility's CEO.

Perhaps in the future I should CC the ARRL and FCC in correspondence
with the power company? It would be good for incidence tracking
'stats' to know the number of interference cases that occur in any given
year.
