These are the 6.3 MHz IF filters? The 9 MHz NAR position has a little
amp you need to set correctly for a CW filter, it looks like you have
that done right?

Ah, it must be a 6.3 MHz IF filter if you put it in a Corsair. Now,
if an S7 signal disappears, you have a bad filter or very bad legs on
the filter. Carefully go over the filter itself, resolder each joint
lightly, then clean the legs and spray with DeOxit or something. Then
stick it in and if it is still weak, jiggle it to see if you can get
more signal. If not, bad filter.
