I will echo the use of mineral oil, as in Heath Cantenna.
DO NOT use peanut oil, it could burn and same for motor oil. The additives in
motor oil might have adverse effect on tin plate of load, and the dummy
resisor materials.
Get Mineral Oil USP which is the pure medicinal grade.
