Some manufacturers lie more than others or run higher voltage, or
measure the amplifier under audio amplifier rules which means with an
external regulated power supply holding up the plate voltage, or under
overdrive conditions that distort badly. Or have more efficient output
tanks for less loss. And amateur watt meters tend to have lots of
variation. Even Bird's have some tolerance.
