The thing that burns me about 'S' meters is the trend for hams to use
S-units for their signal report numbers "5x9 +10" what the hell is that?
Or "your about 5x7 or 8 my needle is bouncing in between the two". Damn
nation, the RS / RST system came along way before "S-meters". I think
it's fine to give the report of your 'S-meter' reading but don't refer to
it as "Your signal report is..." Mr. My rig is the standard by which all
hams must conform. This has been a Crow to me since day one and every
time I hear it I want to through the whole set down the stairs, then I
come to my senses and remember it's a Ten*Tec calm down and just change
frequency or go back to CW where the real hams are. (Yes this is a stab
at the No-class tech's, if your so lazy not to learn CW then find another
hobby and leave us alone.)

Get back to the books and find out what a proper signal report was meant
to be.

Thank you, I do feel better now!

it your still talking the best radio money can buy !!!
