Own a IC756PROII and am seriously looking at the Orion. Has anybody experience
comparing these two in serious conditions (contesting or low band DX-ing
(perhaps in EU))?
Currently use a Drake R4C with the 500 Hz roofing filter in first IF in
combination with the 756PROII on low bands for DX. Will not part from my Drake
but looking for something that has the user functions of the 756 and the RX
performance of the Drake :-)
Any idea why the guys as Tentec are not publishing figures on MDS and BDR? Have
asked them this week by email and was told they were not going to publish them
either.
