Hello Grant,
The Ameritron internal QSK-5PC works well with the Omni 6+? I thought I read on the reflector that there were timing problems. I'd like to add QSK to my AL-80A / Omni 6+ set-up.
Thanks,
K3VJ

Yes, I have one, on the shelf now. Why? The open frame
relays are very difficult to clean, the contacts that is.
The result: in very short amount of time the thing goes "deaf"!

As far as QSK, it works fine, but pretty soon, you can't hear
any signals when it is "in line".

I use the QSK-5PC in an AL-1200 and it has worked absolutely flawlessly for about 7
years.

Prior to that I had the ealrier version in a AL-180A and it was also problem free,
provided I didn't violate the keying constraints.

The Ameritron QSK is an excellent QSK switch .....
