Couldn't have said this better myself - which is why we've been very active in describing how Orion is different from transceivers that have come before it.


Rigs that advertise certain specs and performance capabilities and then
don't deliver create a situation wherein the new buyer expects what was
advertised and finds something else.

Yes - and there are countless examples of radios that claim one thing and then a review process like a QST Product Review indicate something markedly different. We're anxiously awaiting the publication of an ARRL review of the Orion.
