Did you install the tentec 32 bit software in the same folder as the n4py
program? If you did, delete the pegasus.ini file and let the n4py program
build a new one.

If this is not the case, reboot your computer and see what happens after
that.

Also, make sure your icon to start the n4py program is a "shortcut". If it
is not, then the pegasus.ini file will definitely be a problem. Just right
click on the n4py icon and click on "shortcut" if it is not already a
shortcut.

Subject: [TenTec] New TenTec Software and N4PY Issue

I downloaded the new TenTec Pegasus 32 bit software to play with and
installed it on my "ham only" computer. Nothing exciting, but I did notice
that the frequency display acted very jumpy and would only change digits as
the seconds ticked away on the clock display. The analog bar would also
jump around and may go up as I dialed the freq down and vice versa.

So I uninstalled the new TenTec software. Now, the N4PY software does
almost the same thing. The freq display only changes as the clock display
seconds change. However, the analog bar underneath does not have the same
problems as the new TT software had.

Any one else have these issues? Can't understand why the TT installation
would effect the N4PY installation.

Duffy
