I don't seem to be successfull at using my omni VIpls
with the Acom 1000 amp. through the bi-directional
keying loop. I run TXOUT to the ACOM 1000 key in
line, and the ACOM
1000 key out line back to TXEN. With this set up I
keep on getting the "hot switching " warning all the
time from the amp even on ssb . On page 4-16 of the
Omni's manual it says that Resistor 24 on the control
board sets the transmitter rise time. Could this
solve the problem?. Does anyone have any info on how
this resistor should be adjusted?.
