Yuri, this post was a bit misleading.
The IC-730 was an outstanding radio.
It was ham-band only rig with a limited selection of outstanding
crystal filters.
Most Icoms that followed it were far worse!
(Perhaps all of them are.)

I won South American WPX record as P40A on 80m with single Icom
IC730, does
that mean we do not need better radios? Hmmm?
