[TenTec] Friedrichshafen 2004

I wanted to post a note saying thanks to the thousands of European hams (and
a few Americans, VK/ZL's and at least one ZS6) that we spoke with at the
Friedrichshafen hamfest this past weekend.   I was very surprised at the number
of hams over there who indicated they read this forum regularly but don't post,
just to keep track of what's going on with Ten-Tec and the Orion.

Got to meet Hartmut Hess, DJ1AT, for the first time - Hartmut has the 
distinction
of owning the very first original Omni that was imported into Germany back in
the late 1970's and still has it on the air ....alongside his new Orion.

Big thanks to our German dealer Appello GmbH run by Carsten Esch,
www.appello-funk.de for making all the booth arrangements for the weekend,
to DJØIP, DL4LAM, and DB5CG for booth support and to Richard G4NAD
for coming over from Ten-Tec Direct UK www.aoruk.com/tentec to help us run
the booth over the weekend.   Both of these fine companies are doing a 
great job
of sales and service over there and we really appreciate it.
