A humble suggestion re your interesting e-mails re antennas (including the 
vert. dipole)...
Assuming that a majority of the reflector members are located here in the 
USA, might
you consider using the old fashioned measurement system, or at least both.
Most folks in the USA have not, and probably won't in the next 20-50 years 
(if ever), converted
to, or use, the metric system of measuring things (except those technocrats 
that lurk in the
halls of 'white tower' edifices (ie MIT, Yale, Princeton, etc).
Reading your dissertations causes this old man to have his eyes 'glaze' 
over - and doesn't easily
translate.
Just a friendly suggestion.
