Yes, that is the way the Orion II and Orion version 2 work now.  The notch
not being is the AGC loop is being worked on by tentec.  I hope they can
also improve the NR function and get it back to the V1 level.  These are the
only issues I have with V2 and the Orion II.  Other than these points, the
O2 is a fantastic radio.
