I've owned a TS-820, 830, 940 and 850.  They were reliable radios but  
so is the Omni VI + from my experience.  To join the chorus,  
definitely get the InRad 600hz roofing filter.  The front end will be  
as good as any Orion out there--I or II.   The specs sure look better  
than a 570 as well.

I love my Plus.
