True in the case of those few O2's (two of which I have heard on the air 
myself), that seemed to have some inherent and severe problem.  I recall 
hearing from at least one person who mentioned that the monitor sounded 
better on a previous software version on the original Orion.  In the case of 
my O2, both the monitor and the on-air signal are quite distortion free, and 
with the bass corrected externally, nearly flat across the selected 
bandwidth.  I can stand up to the best of 'em on 14.278!
