Agree, based upon my experience that the ALC light on the Orion does not mean much in Xverter mode. In fact, I'm not sure that the light means anything anywhere-- There seems to be a lot of variation in observations of this Orion Box. Iwish TT would give a little more "guidance" to us users. I'm sure they must read these notes. I also suspect there are significant hardware differences between individual units. That might account for the differing results we seem to get.
