I had intended to replace the heatsink with one that has the fins vertical oriented (and hence increasing the cooling capacity) and had it already drilled and ready to go in.I have always wondered why Ten-Tec has the heat sink fins horizontal on the Omni VI and Paragons. I wonder , have they done this on all of their transceivers? The 961 and 962 power supplies have the fins vertically oriented which, as far as I know, is the right way. DE N6KB |
