The original Paragon has the Motorola Clock Chip with a Daylight Savings Time
twice a year change. I believe the changes should be on the 1st Sunday in
April and the last Sunday in October, but I don't remember if there's any way
to set the year so that you can be prepared for the change. I do remember
playing with my Paragon by resetting the clock calendar and observing the
"spring ahead" and "fall back" at 0100 and 0200. It matters not that you are
setting the clock to UTC, when the time comes for it to change one hour for
Daylight Savings Time, it will.
APPLIES ONLY TO ORIGINAL PARAGONS WITH ORIGINAL MOTOROLA CLOCK CHIP SET.
