the optional filters are NOT in the TX path. Only the standard 8 pole
crystal filter.
that being said, some of the first argosy I rigs had complaints that
the audio was extra wide if you used the radio with the factory
standard 4 pole filter.
if you changed that filter to the 8 pole, you tx audio did in fact
sound different.
but back to the Omni D,
any optional filter installed does not get switched into the tx audio,
they are used only for rec function
