I think those are rather heavy and clunky earphones.

I like the Shure Model 512 headset (only one earphone receiver) and REALLY like the Sennheiser HMD-45-6 open air headset mic combination.

I am going to try some less expensive examples, one by Koss with a dynamic mic instead of the usual electret condenser computer mic, and see now that works.

I DO NOT recommend the Warran Greggoire set Ten Tec recommends. You can have mine for the cost of postage and a beer. Very comfortable, but rather anemic sounding earphones and a way too hot, overdriven mic element.

TenTec sales team said they would relish my finding them a different model to recommend.

I am going to try the Beyer Dynamic DT-290 next. I have tried the Sennheiser HMD-280-XQ - but the mic was kinda weak output and I thought they were heavy and uncomfortable. The ear pads made crunching noises, too. I hate that.

Just MY take.
