I think that he meant to say the following to warm up:  "Bens Best Bent 
Wire" and "Bees Knees".
Regarding the best of the best paddles, you must be meaning Brown Brothers.

Sorry for seeming the dolt....I've been CWing with Halli keyers, bugs,
sideswipers, hacksaw blades...and now the best of the best paddles
(but....somewhat ashamed to say, one of my favs is a cheapy Hi-Mound
job....closest paddle spacing of 'em all!!!)
But, I've never heard of this "bens best etc. etc."
What is it....a warm-up thing, secret code, morse tongue twister???    My
bad, but neva hoid of it!!!
Can someone give me the one thing learned per day enlightenment??
