Guess you aren't the only one with lower power output than indicated......

Has anyone verified how accurate the actual power out is in reference
to what it is set to be? Does a setting of 100 w out equal 97-103 watts
or so?
The reason I ask is that my Omni 7's (I have 2), both have an actual
output of a good deal less than what I have the rig set to put out. At a
setting of 100 w out, I see, IIRC about 88 watts. A setting of 50 = an
actual of 44 or so, and at 5 watts it is 4.6 watts. Meters used are a
Bird 43 with 50, 100, and 250 w elements and a LP-100A both of which
agree almost spot on. In fact, most of my TT gear has lower output than
spec with the exception of the Argonaut 5 and the Argonaut 515.

In comparison, a Kenwood TS-2000 that I tested out recently showed an
actual output within 1 watt or so all across the power range of 5-100 watts.

I will soon order an Eagle and was just curious. I know it is not a big
deal, but just wanted to know if anyone has done any meaningful testing
of this.
