I will chime in on MFJ products.  There was a write up in QST or CQ 
about MFJ and its MS manufacturing within the past couple of years I think.

The majority of manufacturing for all their brands is done in MS.  Of 
course, they buy components and many components are made off shore now.
There are facilities in more than one MS town, thus MFJ is a big 
contributor to the local economies.
