Do any members of the group have experience with erecting a random length dipole about 5 feet over a swimming pool enclosure made of a grounded aluminum structure and fiberglass netting? (Enclosure is about 15 feet high at its peak and the antenna will be about 5 feet over this.) I am wondering how the grounded aluminum frame will affect the radiation (and loading) characteristics of the antenna. I will be feeding the antenna with a Ten Tec Omni 6+, a Titan Linear and a TT 238 tuner via RG-213 cable. Any insights, guidance and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Please reply off line to me at KnoxCOL@aol.com Thank you and 73! de Dick KD4BRL |
