I do know a lot of money went to ham clubs for their emergency services a few
years ago when pactor digital messaging got going.
Millions in fact for large e comm vans and trucks, transceivers, generators,
antennas etc.
I have never been quite sure what to think about that.
Does anybody know if very many of these 700,000 new hams are actually active
on the air ??
The bands don't sound any busier to me.
