RIT.

That's what I do on cw. Even my old Corsair has an RIT knob. Yes, we maybe use
a little more bandwidth this way, but if he also uses RIT, then we can be QRV
and hear each other at whichever audio frequency we like to hear the other guy.

Is there a Ten-Tec CW net? I wouldn't know what a microphone is if it hit me
over the head. Ten-Tec has been the recognized leader in QSK for decades, and
it seems odd there doesn't appear to be a CW net.

P.S. I have also a ts480 that has the cw auto zero beat button - I love it! It
uses dsp to match your RX freq to his CQ (or whatever), so when you transmit
you are QRV. You can hear his signal change by a few Hz at a time when that
feature is activated, until it homes in and is QRV. I would love to have this
feature in my Orion II ! It's only software..... Actually, I wish Ten-Tec
would open up the source to the radio so I could add this feature myself. I
have never understood why Ten-Tec allows you to make hardware mods to the
radios, not violating warranty, and yet the source code is not open. Odd...
Like hardware has been in the 20th century, software is in the 21st...
