I just read in digest form the stream of emails concerning the use of
non-Tentec
amps with a Corsair or OmniV or OmniVI radio. I am curious to know why the
Tentec QSK loop (ala OmniVI...) fails with non-Tentec amps..

But that is a question for another time. This post is regarding an inverse
situation. Do Tentec QSK amps work appropriately with a non-Tentec but QSK
radio? In particular, will a TT Hercules II work with a Yaesu FT1000MP?This
combination would be used as a second radio in a SO2R setup. (The main
radio is a FT1000MP paired with an Alpha 87A...a very sweet and quiet
QSK arrangement!) Being prepared in advance for the barrage of posts, I
would
like to state that I know the bandswitching of the Herc II would have to be
arranged with some sort of converter to be automated.

Actually there are two parts to the Yaesu MP and Herc II keying question.
I could use the keying loop or the direct approach.

Thoughts??
