I purchased this fully loaded Orion 565 with auto tuner new from Ten-Tec
in August, 2005. My house has always been smoke and pet free, and the
Orion exterior is in like-new condition. The 565 has last been back to
Ten-Tec in June of 2012 for several updates including RIT/XIT encoder,
display, logic board and memory battery replacements. In addition to the
standard roofing crystal filters, this 565 is also equipped with the
optional Ten-Tec 1.8 kHz, 500 Hz & 250 Hz roofing filters. The Orion is
equipped with the latest firmware (3.032x5).
Package includes 565 radio (S/N 03C10675), power cord, hand mike and
manual. The 565 is in good operating condition, although the RIT/XIT
works intermittently. I receive excellent audio reports.
I am selling the 565 because I want to purchase a new Elecraft K3. The
asking price is $1400, which includes shipping (CONUS) in a Ten-Tec
supplied carton. Payment must be by USPS money order or PayPal. If
