I think this "noise discussion" is about phase noise, measured in dBc/Hz. It's the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at certain offsets from the carrier. ARRL usually measures transmitted phase noise, so that needs to be examined.

You are looking at the wrong specs, James.
IMD is only part of the story.
Oops, I thought I was done with this.
Now I am.

Bluff. Dare to Compare these transmitter spectral graphs by the ARRL...

These graphs are part of the ARRL 590 and Eagle product reviews,
respectively, and clearly show the TS-590 has a better spectral purity graph
than the Eagle. If this shows the Eagle is quiet, then it also shows the
590 is better yet.

Plenty of others? OK... then NAME THEM!

I don't mind being wrong... if you can actually show it, but so far, you got
nothing - except proof your nag is falling behind in the race.

I'm done with that topic James.
It's fact, not a bluff.

Indeed, Rob did not test for broadband noise, but plenty of others
have, and you continue to snuff their reports.
What can I say?
