From the MENU:

Set keying loop to OFF
Audio Source to LINE
Line Gain to 50%
TX Equalizer to 0 dB
SSB TX BW to 3000
TX Rolloff to 100 Hz
Speech Processor to OFF

From the front panel:
Set PWR to 100
Speech Processor to OFF

You must be feeding the signal from the interface to the AUX input on the rear and not the MIC input on the front.

You may need to adjust the Line Gain to obtain the desired power output. This control along with the software level controls will have some interaction.

Bob thank you for the excellent tip!

Yes when I turn MON on and bring it up I can hear a nice audio signal playing JT65 tones when I transmit. But still no RF out. The OMNI VII refuses to transmit this signal. I am in USB mode and LINE input. What on earth could I be doing wrong with my OMNI VII?

Thanks so much!!
