Mike Bryce makes a good point. At this stage of the sunspot cycles, 12m is not of much use and will only get worse down the curve. 60m would be a more useful band choice.

60m is becoming useful as another emergency network band segment. It now has international allocations such as in U.K.

I am surprised someone wanting both 60 and 12 would not just put a "dog house" onto the back of the rig for the added band coils. You would have to adjust the LC for the extra lead lengths, but that should be doable. The main issue, is there room on the present bandswitch? If not, a small relay or diode switching might be utilized to transfer the RF paths from standard bandswitch to two positions in the added stages.
