Great advice from Bob. The Century 22 that I recently acquired had the exact same symptoms: RX was good but no TX. Much of the problem turned out to be due to a poor connection to the final amp board. I treated the jumpers and connectors on the boards with Deoxit and suddenly had some output! Good luck.
