Richard-

I have a Yaesu G-1000SDX rotor which I wanted to interface to my computer
but thought the Yaesu GS-23 interface was a little pricey at $300 and
something. I bought a SARtek interface (see
http://www.hosenose.com/sartek/index.html ) for $179 and it works prefectly.
Took about 15 minutes to install. The rotor starts. The rotor stops. It
knows which way to go. What more could one ask? The interface comes with
software and many log programs will also drive it.

Take a look at them on the web.
