Ted,

The transition from 50-75 and 75-50 can be handled in several ways,
including ununs.  However, there is a fairly simple technique for series
matching one cable to another reviewed in an article at my site on Series
Matching, with the necessary bit of calculator math included.  It involves
short lengths of both impedances coaxes--and a non-hard line section can
be used in place of the hardline for the match section.  Ununs are
compact; this is cheap--both are effective and remove any need for
measuring the long line of cable.
