Well, Bruce, it would seem, without jumping to conclusions, that not
everyone has had the same level of satisfaction dealing with Force
12....either they are hard to please, or maybe you are easy to please....or,
maybe, you just got lucky.
Nevertheless, while my own Force 12 products have worked well for me for
many years, I will not forget being told by <owner> that the circumstance I
experienced upon receipt of one of the new antennas I bought from them
"simply could not happen ...our system is not set up that way".
After about 45 minutes of polite but firm explanations as to my lack of
motive for presenting a falsehood, I finally got a speech on how many hams
try to take advantage of Force 12 with causes of damage, non-existent winds
in tornado areas, etc. ...concluding with an agreement to supply the one
piece which was missing and the other piece which was incorrectly machined.
Had they been items which I could have gone to Home Depot and purchased, I
would eagerly have suffered the cost of replacement in order to discontinue
the insulting implications of what someone 3,000 miles away was telling me
could not exist, while I was looking at it.
So.......Have fun and (let me see do I have this right) if you don't like
something, don't complain about it in hopes that it might register and get
better, ...just suck it up ...or go elsewhere. Do I have that right ??
