Well, finally got some time off this weekend and am wanting to work on my tower
installation at least some while I can.
Rohn 25G Inventory:
Two regular sections 10' each section
Rotor Plate (AS25G) (Rotor is Ham IV)
Top section (25AG3) 9' 3.5"
I have no mast for the tower yet, not sure what size/type to use.
(any recommendations would be appreciated)
Also any recommendations for guy wire or rope to be used would be helpful.
I am going to be mounting an old tribander to it once I get it erected:
Hornet model TB-500
3 elements spaced 7' on a 14' Boom
Weight = 35 lbs
Turning Radius = 14' 11"
Longest element = 27' 4.5"
I have no windload factors on this beam since it is very old and I do not have
a manual for it (only a brochure) someone sent me.
Does anyone know (or remember) what the windload is on these?
