Of course not.
I think they can just recycle the mercury, plus all fluorescent bulbs
contain it as far as I know.
There's probably a recycling center near you... but that's still kind
of a pain... communities will eventually need to have some way to pick
up these bulbs if we want recycling to be a reality.
