I want to thank everyone for the ideas and insight. My wife and I will begin building our new home on 4 acres in about two weeks. I don't know if I'll have time to get a tower up before the snow flies next fall/winter so I thought I would investigate the usage of dipoles for a temporary and then permanant solution. Thanks again to everyone - what a great group.
