 Pictures dont do justice. 

So I am looking at this picture and am thinking 

that with the frequencies involved (as low as 5Mhz) 

these elements (one cage) being a dipole would be approx the same length as a 
1/2 wave wire dipole.

So each of these cages is as long as my wire dipole for 80 meters??
