It's a two element beam. It works fine as long as you don't expect
something other than two element beam performance.

The wind load is small, and the symmetry of the antenna results in very
little twisting in the wind.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Hex Beam

Having seen some signs of life on 10 and 15M recently, and it being Spring
and all, my thoughts have turned to an antenna for the above bands.

Looking around at the various options, I came upon the Hex Beam.

Not being a contestor or DXer, it looks good to me.

I've searched the Towertalk archives. I didn't find much in the way of
negatives. I didn't find much in the way of positives, either. All the
posts I read were several years old.

Anyone have anything, good or bad, to say about the Hex Beam?
