Well, there are many "complete fools" in Ham Radio who I know that do not grd 
towers et al . . . including a former ARRL Pres who lives in my area and paid 
the price of a lightning strike! Lots of Hams (Amateur is correct) play the 
odds rather than spend the time, money and effort to do a grd system.
