I made a fast visit to the YU7EF and yes is not the  step by step site to build
your first yagi, but for people with the idea
how the antenna  can be build,
I can say   the web page put you the  facts and what you need,   the design is
50 or very close to 50 ohms  no need or any other device
to adjust,  ask for a insulated elements  above or below the boom , maybe F12
style with PVC or Stauff clamps
for me is very clear how to use his designs and make it easy to  replicate his
antennas even using imperial size tubing
and for support  I follow the photos of the others what made it before.

give a try why not

Speaking of YU7EF; I've been to his site several times in the last
couple of months, and I always fail to find any description of his
construction methods. I find tables with element spacing numbers,
plots and photos, but no construction details. I must be  missing an
obvious link somewhere.... ??
