The ERC Version 4, just announced, even includes the relays on the same card, for a very economical solution.

Hi Magnus,
What I did was buy and build a PC to rotor control interface. Check out the ERC-M USB Kit. It is easy and fun to build and you can mount it inside the G-450 controller housing. I cut a square hole in the back for the USB cable and a small hole for the dc power connector. Ham Radio Deluxe interfaces with it and allows click and turn functionality. I am sure most rotor control software will work.

See it here;

You will also need the rotorcard kit.

Hi

I have a quite small antenna so I am using the G-450XL.
Now what I really miss with it is the ability to set it to a direction and let it go by itself or even have it going by the logging program to the direction of the call I have in the log.

Did anyone consider, try or make any theoretical calculations of feasability if it is possible to use a G-1000 or G-2800 rotor control box on my G-450XL rotator?
