Don't rule out analog audio and RF for the link -- an Ethernet and/or 
WiFi link adds latency.

## What has latency got to do with it ?   Its not ham gear with tx /rx.
Its   just a low power FM TX.   The usual STL link, like FM broadcasters use,
typ used low power analog FM  for the uhf STL.   WI-FI would probably work just
fine, even if it did have some latency.  Most AM /FM broadcast stations delay
the audio  feed by 7-10 seconds anyway..before it even gets into the input of 
any
STL link.   In steves case, it’s a moot point.
