Ref: thread on manually performing duplex magic... FYI - be careful on laser printers which dont specifically state support of printing on both sides of a sheet of paper (via duplex or manually). the problem is that the fuser in the laser printer will melt the toner on the previously printed side of the paper and gum up the machine. Many of the smaller machines werent designed to expect toner on the back side of the paper as it goes through... it didnt take long in our office to hose up a couple of machines via the "print odd side first then even pages" method.... your mileage my vary... #--------------------------------------------------------------------------# Robert Beckstrom Rockwell Electronic Commerce Advanced Products Development 300 Bauman Court Wood Dale, IL 60191 email - rpb@ec.rockwell.com Voice - Direct 630.227.8652 Main 630.227.8000 Shared FAX - 630.227.8040 For curiosity seekers - http://www.rockwell.com http://www.ec.rockwell.com #--------------------------------------------------------------------------# -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/trlogfaq.html Submissions: trlog@contesting.com Administrative requests: trlog-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-trlog@contesting.com Feature Wishlist: http://web.jzap.com/n6tr/trwish.html |
