Dos machines will not be extinct i=until all that you can buy are 64 bit 
machines. That 9is not as far off as you may think. They won't be gone but 
they will e hard to find and will have little or no support.
Why should I be forced to boot to DOS and only get to run the one program? 
It makes no sense.

My Spot program is gone, My call book is gone, My Network is gone, My PCI 
sound card is gone, no thanks.
YES I know it is possible to find drivers for these that may work in dos. 
It is just not wroth it.
