many thanks for your reply with the patch. I tested it many years ago
but much better results I got with the Caldera DOS which is free for
non-commercial use. I am not sure if it is still available from their
site but you can find it on my computer dedicated site inder downloads

There are two versions available
- the full version with networking support (disk01.144 - disk05.144]
- the light version without networking support (ldisk01.144 - ldisk03.144)
You need also mkdskzip.exe, I highly recommend to download also the
readme and makedisk.txt, also diskcopy.com. All disk* or ldisk* files
are diskette images, so you will obtain a set of 5 or 3 installation
diskettes. No patches needed and TR runs on any machine.

This bug causes a runtime error 200 when the startup code of
Delay() is executed. The bug appears when a DIV instruction is

register.
With this bugfix you can patch all files that have been compiled with
Turbo Pascal, for example Crosspoint. This procedure does also
work with applications compiled for the protected mode.

This should allow TR-Log to work with MS-DOS 6.22. If you get a
chance to try it before I do, please let me know if it fixes the
problem! I think this is why I couldn't get TR-Log running under
FreeDOS also. That's on my list of things to check too.

Yes, that's true. There is a problem with MS-DOS 6.22 caused by the
graph.tpu module used in many applications compiled under Borland's
Turbo Pascal ver. 6 or 7 if there are timing-critical routines (and
TR-Log USES such routines!). There is a patch but its application is not
very simple, also source code needed. I recommend to use another DOS
than MS-DOS. Good choice is the Caldera (DR) DOS 7.03 or later which is
also free for non-commercial use. I tested also the IBM DOS 2000 with
great success.

This sounds like it could be a problem with 6.22.

Hi All,
Mark, KD4D, suggested to download Win-98SE boot disk and boot the computer.
I did it a bit different: created bootable diskette on Win-98 machine
(format a: /s) and booted 3.2 GHz computer to it. Then I accessed TR
directory on C: drive and everything works OK. If I access the very same
directory via dual boot and run TR-Log - the runtime error pops up within
few seconds.
